Starting her career at Dagger Law in 2011, Ms. Parrott has over a decade of experience in domestic relations and family law work. She primarily practices in Fairfield County and those contiguous to Fairfield County
Education
Ms. Parrott graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio University in Columbus, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science. Subsequently, she received her Juris Doctor degree from the Capital Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, her law degree includes a concentration in children and family law.
Professional Affiliations
Ms. Parrott has previously served as a Juvenile Law Instructor at the Ohio University Summer Law and Trial Institute. Additionally, she has participated in an Ohio Supreme Court Juvenile Rule Workgroup. Other historic affiliations include:
- 2019 Ohio Rising Stars Recipient;
- The Fairfield County Bar Association (Past President of the Fairfield County Bar Association);
- The Fairfield County Women’s Bar Association;
- The Ohio State Bar Association;
- and CALI Excellence for the Future Award Recipient. Given to the student with the highest score in each law school class.
In addition, Alyssa is the co-managing partner for Dagger Johnston Miller Ogilvie & Hampson, LLP. Moreover, she is the first female attorney to sit as a partner at Dagger Law since the firm’s founding in 1902.
Committed to Service
As a lifelong resident of Lancaster, Ms. Parrott is actively engaged in the Fairfield County community through multiple service organizations, including:
- The Lancaster Sherman Rotary;
- The Fairfield County United Way;
- Lancaster Select Soccer Association.
At this time, Ms. Parrott and her husband reside with their family in Fairfield County, Ohio.
