Dagger Law is proud to announce an exciting new collaboration with veteran attorney Stephen “Cork” Brown. Beginning in January, 2025, Brown will serve as Of Counsel to provide litigation support for firm cases. Brown brings over 25 years of civil litigation and corporate counsel experience, making him a valuable addition to their team.
Brown is a seasoned trial advocate who excels in guiding clients through complex legal disputes, including contract disputes, non-compete actions, property litigation, and fraud claims. With a career spanning big law and more than a decade as a solo practitioner, Brown is known for building long-standing relationships with clients, court and counsel while achieving exceptional results.

Beyond litigation, Brown has served as both outside and in-house counsel, advising central Ohio businesses on employment matters, corporate governance and asset acquisitions. A magna cum laude graduate of Capital University Law School, Brown’s legal acumen has been recognized through accolades such as induction into the Order of the Curia and membership on the Editorial Board of Capital University Law Review.
He is an active community leader, serving on boards for organizations such as the Red Cross, Maywood Mission, and the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. Ohio University has honored him with the Alumni Leadership Award for his dedication to the Lancaster community.
